NFL Pro Bowl Odds: AFC vs. NFC

Looking for more football action? Look no further. The NFL Pro Bowl game kicks off this Sunday!
The NFL’s version of the all-star game, the Pro Bowl, is played annually at the end of the season — following the Super Bowl. Although officially called the AFC-NFC Pro Bowl (pitting players in the American Football Conference against players from the National Football Conference) the event takes place every winter at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, Hawaii (since January 1980).
The bad news for New England Patriots fans (who are still healing from last weekend’s Super Bowl loss to the New York Giants), is that QB Tom Brady has decided to pass on the free trip to Hawaii. Ah well…the show must go on. For many it will be a nice change of scenery and a great opportunity for adversaries to play as teammates.
Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning and Pittsburgh’s Ben Roethlisberger will lead the AFC offense with rushers Fred Taylor of Jacksonville and Joseph Addai and receiver Chad Johnson of Cinncinnati. For the NFC, Dallas quarterback Tony Romo and Seattle’s Matt Hasselback will lead rushers Adrian Peterson of Minnesota, Marion Barber of Dallas, along with receiver Terrell Owens.
Betting on Sunday’s Pro Bowl game? Keep in mind the AFC has a 19-18 edge over the NFC.
