Davidson 73, Wisconsin 56

It looks like we’ve got ourselves another George Mason-type Cinderella story on our hands. In what was supposed to be an easy win for the Wisconsin Badgers, the Davidson Wildcats pulled off another huge upset and easily beat Wisconsin 73-56. For the Wildcats, Stephen Curry scored more than 30 points for a third straight game. Davidson now advances to the Elite Eight.

Texas 82, Stanford 62

The Texas Longhorns made a rush late in the second half that appeared to be too much for Stanford that late in the game as the Longhorns went on to take the Carndinal 82-62. For the Longhorns D.J. Augustin recorded 21 points, five rebounds and seven assists; Damion James put up 18 points; Abrams added 12 points and Connor Atchley picked up 10. Texas now advances to the Elite Eight.

The NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight begins Saturday.
