The Super Bowl half time show always creates a big hype. This show is usually the highlight of the event; it’s what makes the game an event close to a national holiday.
In the past, performers have ranged from The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Prince and we all remember the famous duo, Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake. So who will it be this year? Sponsored by Bridgestone, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Kylie Minogue, Soulja Boy, Jordin Sparks, Akon and finally the much anticipated Paula Abdul will all take the stage at some point during the day.
Paula Abdul is going to be performing? I thought she was a has-been? Well, yes that is true but this Super Bowl show will mark her comeback while she will perform her new single “dance like there’s no tomorrow”.
“This is a historical moment dude” said Randy Jackson, Paula’s American Idol buddy and creator of the new guest-heavy album, Music Club Vol.1 where Paula’s song will be the albums single track.
What do you think her performance will be like? As for me, I think, like most performers of the past, the comeback will bomb. I wonder if this is a good move for her. Regardless of how she does the media can be cruel and I think they are going to rip her to shreds.
